2.gif) | | | Shalom! May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you. It has been an awesome experience to witness the movement of the Holy Spirit within the life of our church. I am excited about the possibility of spearheading our building project that will provide needed space to support comprehensive ministries. By the grace of God it is highly possible for us to begin Phase One of our site development plan within the next twelve months. I am asking each member to join me in a walk of faith as we trust God to give us 3 million dollars to build our multi-ministry facility and develop outreach programs.
I am excited about shaping ministry to embrace spiritual growth and meet the needs of our community. I am excited about the challenges God is bringing to our community. Were you aware of County Council’s proposal to create seven new housing developments in Lower Richland? The first area which is currently being constructed will bring 700 families into our community within the next twelve months. It is only fitting for New Light Beulah to prepare to reap the harvest that the Lord has for our fellowship. With that in mind I have been led to emphasize a five-fold focus for all aspects of internal ministries.
Evangelism: This is the process of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with people who do not know him as their personal savior. Evangelism is the primary reason why we exist as the church. Remember Matthew 28:18-20!
Discipleship: Jesus instructs us to make disciples. This is the process of training new converts to handle the word of God and becomes functional members of the body of Christ.
Fellowship: The collective sharing of all things in common where the love of God is manifested. Fellowship is designed to foster intimate spiritual relationships within the body of Christ. This is usually where we recognize spiritual gifts, talents and needs.
Worship: The process of realizing the presence of God in all aspects of our lives. Worship has both a personal and corporate dimension where we participate in the ministry or service for which God calls us to fulfill.
Ministry: Service for God, which he has called and given each Christian authority to perform above and beyond their natural ability. Let me encourage every member of our family to pray for God to use us to reach those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. May we continue to be a praying, loving people, empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve families, communities, and the world!
